Senior Litigation Manager (Insurance)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $127,000–$171,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential annual performance-based incentive and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead complex and litigated claim execution, guide independent contributors and Claims leaders, and advise high-stakes claim roundtables.
• Manage operational relationships across a large, international insurance organization with a highly matrixed structure.
• Partner with Product, Legal, Actuarial, Engineering, Information Systems, and Data Science teams to improve litigation data and insights.
• Manage third-party legal service vendors, strengthen relationships, and deliver against cost and outcome goals.
• Support compliance, quality, and risk management through SOX controls, third-party audits, and monthly litigation file audits.
• Coordinate critical communications about complex and litigated claims for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree.
• 10+ years of experience in Claims Operations, including 5+ years leading others.
• Subject matter expertise in Commercial General Liability claims and policy interpretation, including construction defect matters and large-loss property damage and bodily injury claims.
• Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
• Data-driven approach with the ability to identify themes and use insights to improve business results.
• Experience leading multiple distributed teams, preferably in a fully remote or hybrid environment, and collaborating across functions.
