Team Lead, Premium Audit (Commercial Insurance)

Location: Remote within the United States; territories excluded. Remote employees must live and work in the United States and have reliable, high-speed internet.

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead daily workload distribution across premium audit processing, outreach, and inbound and outbound call workflows.
• Monitor production and quality performance, maintain team scorecards, and coach team members through regular 1:1s and feedback.
• Resolve complex insured and agent inquiries and coordinate escalations requiring higher-level review.
• Manage handoffs between outreach, audit review, billing, and customer service teams.
• Review audit documentation and outreach interactions for accuracy, tone, and adherence to SOPs.
• Train team members on audit and insurance platforms and support process and technology improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of premium audit experience and 4 years of commercial insurance experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience or demonstrated leadership experience.
• Knowledge of state- and bureau-specific premium audit rules, with the ability to interpret and communicate them accurately.
• Intermediate written and verbal communication, problem-solving, leadership, organization, and time-management skills.
• Experience with G-Suite tools, collaboration tools, Salesforce, Looker, and Insurity is preferred.
