Network Engineer / Senior Network Engineer (AI)

Location: Singapore. The role includes international and domestic travel for on-site deployments and commissioning.

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, support, and maintain corporate LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, cloud-connected, and data-centre network infrastructure.
• Develop network automation with Infrastructure as Code tools, Ansible, NetBox, and Python, including CI/CD pipelines, provisioning, backups, and compliance checks.
• Implement network security controls such as firewalls, VLAN segmentation, ACLs, private interconnects, and zero-trust policies.
• Resolve outages and performance issues, analyze logs and network trends, maintain monitoring, and design redundant paths, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery playbooks.
• Support network deployment and resource planning for AI cluster installations while coordinating with operations, software-defined infrastructure, data-centre, commissioning, and solution architecture teams.
• Maintain expertise in advanced AI networking technologies, provide vendor and partner support, document solutions, and mentor junior network engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of network engineering experience, with a focus on AI infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux systems and host network configuration.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, MPLS, private interconnects, network security, monitoring, and incident response.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically for on-site deployments and commissioning.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA InfiniBand, Spectrum Ethernet Platform, or RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE).
• Experience with Cumulus Linux, SONiC, NetDevOps, and software-defined networking.
