Senior Cloud Network Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Maintain and expand global cloud network infrastructure across new regions and markets while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Design, implement, and operate highly available production networks across LAN, WAN, VPN, cloud environments, data centres, and international connectivity.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud networking environments.
• Respond to complex network incidents, lead escalations through resolution, and produce after-action reports.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, DevOps, Database, Corporate IT, and Facilities teams on regional infrastructure initiatives.
• Maintain network documentation, evaluate technologies, improve operational visibility, and participate in global on-call rotations and scheduled upgrades.

Requirements

• CCNP- or JNCIP-level networking experience and experience in mixed-vendor environments such as Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco, or Aruba.
• At least 3 years of production AWS networking experience, plus a basic understanding of GCP networking.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, route filtering, command-line configuration, and troubleshooting with JunOS, IOS, or equivalent systems.
• Strong documentation practices and understanding of change-control processes.
• Ability to assess the impact of infrastructure changes and incidents, manage escalations, and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Understanding of AI-assisted workflows and practical use cases.

Nice to have

• Strong GCP experience and knowledge of additional cloud providers such as Aliyun or Azure.
• Linux, Python or Bash, event-driven automation, Terraform, and Git-based CI/CD experience.
• Experience with IPsec VPNs, elastic connectivity providers, and data-centre operations.
• Experience in fintech, finance, high-availability networks, or environments with strict information-security and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
