What you will do

• Create, edit, and optimize CMM programs using Calypso, PC-DMIS, engineering drawings, and 3D models.
• Design fixturing and develop inspection plans for new product programs.
• Verify in-house models and conduct program prove-outs.
• Write procedures and work instructions supporting CMM programs.
• Coordinate priorities with Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, Production Control, Quality, and Operations.
• Train operators and support CMM troubleshooting, tooling procurement, supplier coordination, and quality control laboratory activities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a CMM Programmer.
• Strong experience with Zeiss and Hexagon CMMs and programming.
• Proficient knowledge of GD&T according to ASME Y14.5.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of machine tools, manufacturing processes, and CAD-based systems.
• Ability to work with 3D models.
