Senior Software Engineer (AI Engineering)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications, AI/ML services, including LLM services, and production data pipelines at scale.
• Build development tooling for data scientists and product engineers.
• Design and deliver performant, reliable, maintainable code using unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Influence the roadmap for applications and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product engineers, and users to enable new AI capabilities.

Requirements

• Degree or background in a quantitative field such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Practical experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, and vector databases.
• Experience with software deployment, CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of domain-driven design, microservice patterns, and service-oriented architectures.
• Technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers or driving collaboration across engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience designing and maintaining highly reliable, high-throughput data pipelines.
• Experience deploying and maintaining AI/ML services, including LLM services via vLLM.
