Vice President, Deputy CLO - Employment - 943 (Employment Law)

Location: On-site in Broomfield, Colorado, United States. Candidates must be U.S. Persons as defined in the posting. Due to U.S. national-security requirements, candidates must not be nationals of China or Russia unless also U.S. citizens.

Salary: $350,000–$450,000 annually, inclusive of bonus target.

What you will do

• Establish, lead, and scale the global employment-law function for a newly public company.
• Advise executive leadership, People teams, and business leaders on employee relations, hiring, terminations, investigations, accommodations, immigration, and workforce transitions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment, separation, settlement, confidentiality, and restrictive-covenant agreements.
• Develop scalable global employment policies, training, playbooks, processes, and compliance guidance.
• Support legal-entity establishment and employment, payroll, benefits, tax, immigration, and regulatory requirements in new jurisdictions.
• Manage employment claims, litigation, agency charges, outside counsel, budgets, and legal spending globally.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor, LLB, or equivalent law degree, with admission to practice and good standing in at least one relevant jurisdiction.
• At least 15 years of legal experience, including significant employment-law experience.
• Significant public-company, employment-litigation, and multinational organization experience.
• Excellent knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment law and experience advising on UK employment matters.
• Experience building or scaling employment-law functions, launching new geographies, and creating scalable employment solutions.
• Must be a U.S. Person; candidates must not be Chinese or Russian nationals unless also U.S. citizens.

• Experience with EMEA and APAC employment matters.
