Structural Engineer (Data Centers)

Location: DFW01_02, United States; travel may be required up to 25%.

What you will do

• Lead structural engineering standards, details, design criteria, and updates across the data center platform.
• Develop standardized, repeatable, prefabricated, and modular structural systems aligned with platform, supply chain, and fabrication strategies.
• Coordinate structural design across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines and ensure quality throughout the design phase.
• Serve as the technical authority for structural decisions, validating readiness for construction, equipment loading, and service.
• Support conceptual design, site evaluations, acquisitions, expansions, retrofits, upgrades, and technical assessments of existing assets.
• Investigate structural performance issues, troubleshoot site problems, and evaluate innovative construction methods and AI-enabled engineering tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in structural design or project management, preferably in data centers.
• Strong understanding of data center design and construction processes, construction drawings, specifications, and project scopes.
• Advanced Excel and AutoCAD skills; experience with Revit, Bluebeam, and project management or construction platforms such as MS Project, Procore, or BIM 360.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, confidentiality, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with international projects.
• SE license and experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Interest in AI-enabled tools for improving engineering efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
