What you will do
- Own daily operations, maintenance, cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the Atlanta manufacturing facility.
- Lead the site Operating Engineer and coordinate facilities contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, building controls, compressed air, and industrial utility systems.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Test, OSRC, Security, IT, and Workplace Operations to identify facility requirements and mitigate operational risks.
- Lead space planning, equipment placement reviews, facility reconfigurations, and site-level facilities projects from scope through closeout.
- Manage equipment installations, infrastructure improvements, operating budgets, forecasts, expenditures, invoices, and financial controls.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5β7 years of progressive experience in facilities management, industrial maintenance, manufacturing operations, construction management, or a related field.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or similarly complex operating environments.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial building systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire/life safety, building controls, compressed air, and industrial utilities.
- Experience leading facilities operations, maintenance programs, contractors, projects, space planning, budgets, vendor contracts, and financial controls.
- Experience using a CMMS or similar facilities management platform; ability to respond to urgent site issues outside standard business hours when necessary.
