Express Claims Advocate (Commercial General Liability)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must have or promptly obtain a Texas Independent Adjuster License

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential annual performance-based incentive and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage, investigate, evaluate, and resolve lower-complexity commercial general liability property damage claims.
• Assess coverage, liability, damages, applicable statutes, and case law to determine claim outcomes.
• Settle claims within prescribed authority levels and recommend resolutions exceeding assigned authority.
• Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information and provide status updates.
• Meet statutory, regulatory, quality assurance, performance, and customer service standards while managing a high volume of claims.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of claims handling experience, including coverage and liability, or relevant experience.
• Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer service skills, including active listening and empathy.
• Mac literacy and proficiency with Google and Microsoft tools.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant knowledge and experience.
• Must have or promptly obtain a Texas Independent Adjuster License.

• Experience handling Commercial General Liability claims.
• Experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume remote environment.
