Liability Assoc. Claims Adjuster

What you will do

• Investigate first-party automobile physical damage and third-party automobile and general liability property damage claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Review accident reports, witness statements, repair estimates, policy provisions, coverage details, and other claim materials.
• Interview claimants, insureds, witnesses, attorneys, and other involved parties, while maintaining regular communication and providing claim-status updates.
• Evaluate damages, bodily injury, liability exposure, repair costs, loss of use, diminished value, and claim reserves.
• Issue payments, negotiate settlements, manage claims from initial report through resolution, and identify subrogation or other risk-transfer opportunities.
• Maintain claim documentation, action plans, file diaries, and regulatory compliance while identifying and escalating potential fraud indicators.

Requirements

• Claims adjusting licenses as required by the Florida jurisdiction.
• Two years of experience in first-party physical damage, automobile liability, commercial general liability, or closely related claims adjusting.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple claims while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Knowledge of Florida Sovereign Immunity law.
