Liability Assoc. Claims Adjuster

Location: Fully remote in Florida

Salary: $62,000–$67,000 per year

What you will do

• Investigate first-party automobile physical damage and third-party automobile and general liability property damage claims.
• Determine coverage, liability, damages, reserves, and appropriate claim payments.
• Review accident reports, witness statements, repair estimates, policy provisions, and other claim materials.
• Interview claimants, insureds, witnesses, attorneys, and other involved parties.
• Manage claims from initial report through resolution, including settlement negotiations and regular status updates.
• Maintain detailed claim files, identify fraud indicators and subrogation opportunities, and ensure compliance with regulatory and client service standards.

Requirements

• Florida claims adjusting license as required by the jurisdiction.
• At least two years of experience in first-party physical damage, automobile liability, commercial general liability, or a closely related area.
• Strong investigative, analytical, negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple claims while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Knowledge of Florida Sovereign Immunity law.
