Senior Robotics Test Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Wilmington, Massachusetts, United States; travel may be required to client and customer locations.

Salary: $125,000–$171,600 per year, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Develop test plans mapped to customer and functional requirements.
• Validate complex electro-mechanical systems integrated with multilayered software and measure system performance.
• Develop and use automation to improve test coverage and testing capabilities.
• Coordinate test-plan execution with Test Engineers and Technicians.
• Perform triage, root cause analysis, containment, and corrective-action planning for complex system issues.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Control, Vision, and Safety engineering teams, and communicate test results through data dashboards and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related engineering or technical field.
• At least 7 years of design validation experience with highly complex hardware and software products in robotics or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of robotics, machine vision, safety-critical systems, multi-axis sensors, localization, actuators, and control algorithms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with Python, Linux, C/C++, Jira, TestRail, Tableau, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Ability to travel, drive, or fly to client and customer locations; a valid driver’s license is required.
