Senior Test Engineer

What you will do

• Create transition plans for electronic designs moving into production and into the supply chain.
• Lead test equipment and EIS issue resolution to ensure smooth design-to-production transitions.
• Design and develop test equipment for circuit card testing, including hardware interfaces, wiring diagrams, rack documentation, power distribution, switch matrix, and data acquisition.
• Program and maintain test systems using LabView/LabWindows/CVI, Python, and C/C++/C#; troubleshoot, repair, and support test equipment.
• Integrate COTS test equipment (signal generators, multimeters, power supplies, computers) and develop cable schematics/mechanical design.
• Lead cross-site NPI efforts and perform root-cause corrective action support for systemic non-conformances in complex electronic assemblies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 10 years of experience with exceptional technical skills and knowledge.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot electronic hardware and software assemblies.
• Proven ability to lead and coach others and collaborate in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio) and Notepad++.
• Access to United States export-controlled information is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with National Instruments LabView & LabWindows/CVI, Python, and Microsoft Visual Studio C/C++/C#.
• Experience with Cadence OrCAD & Allegro for circuit card development.
• Experience with C and assembly language for microprocessor work.
