Hardware Test Engineer II (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and execute hardware tests for new products and mechanical revisions across feasibility, EVT, DVT, and PVT.
• Lead physical pick-and-pack testing, evaluating SKU pickability, grip reliability, and placement accuracy.
• Own robot system and subsystem cycle testers, including hardware bring-up, maintenance, test execution, and failure debugging.
• Build and maintain hardware test infrastructure.
• Track test cycles and MTTF/MTBF, perform wear measurements and teardowns, and conduct failure analysis.
• Drive root-cause investigations with Design and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in hardware or reliability testing, validation, or mechatronics.
• Hands-on experience debugging with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and DAQ.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with statistical analysis, DOE, lifecycle testing, and fatigue testing.
• Comfort with Linux CLI, Git, and basic Python or Bash scripting.
