Hardware Test Engineer (AI Hardware)

What you will do

• Define and own end-to-end test strategies across EVT, DVT, PVT, and production milestones.
• Design custom bed-of-nails, pogo-pin, and cable-harness fixtures for PCBA and system-level testing.
• Write Python automation scripts to control instruments, collect data, and generate pass/fail reports.
• Lead electrical bring-up of new PCBAs, debugging power rails, clocks, interfaces, and peripherals.
• Plan and execute thermal cycling, vibration, drop, and accelerated life tests.
• Deploy and maintain test stations with contract manufacturers while performing root-cause analysis on failures and field returns.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong Python scripting skills for SCPI/VISA instrument control, data analysis, and test reporting.
• Expertise with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
• Experience bringing up and debugging complex multi-rail, mixed-signal PCBAs.
• Experience deploying test systems at contract manufacturers and supporting production ramps.

Nice to have

• Experience with boundary scan, JTAG, ICT, or flying probe testing.
• RF testing experience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or cellular radios.
• Familiarity with LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar test executive frameworks.
• Experience testing cameras, displays, microphones, or other sensor arrays.
