Technical Recruiter (AI)

Salary: $180K–$220K per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, offer management, and closing.
• Partner with founders, engineering leaders, and hiring managers to scope roles, define hiring standards, and build recruiting strategies.
• Build and maintain pipelines of senior technical talent through proactive outreach and referrals.
• Run structured, bias-aware screens and deliver a high-quality candidate experience.
• Use market and compensation data to support offers and improve close rates.
• Maintain ATS data, report on funnel health, and use AI tools to improve sourcing and screening efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth startup or AI/ML, infrastructure, or deep-tech environment.
• Demonstrated success closing senior and hard-to-fill engineering or research roles.
• Strong technical fluency across engineering roles and technology stacks.
• Experience with AI-powered sourcing and screening tools and Ashby.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and candidate-experience skills.
• Comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-changing, high-bar environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the open-source AI ecosystem, including PyTorch, model serving, and inference.
• Experience building recruiting processes or employer-brand programs at an early-stage company.
