Employee Relations Manager

Location

Location: On-site in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA

Salary: $107K – $178K per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and scale the people function to support rapid 10x growth.
• Reinvent people operations using AI to support a lean team.
• Own internal culture, communications, and events to maintain alignment across multiple sites.
• Manage employee relations including investigations, conflict resolution, and policy enforcement.
• Run investigations end to end with legally sound documentation.
• Coach managers on performance and conduct issues to prevent escalation.
• Analyze employee relations patterns and address root causes.

Requirements

• Must have experience owning employee relations and running investigations independently.
• Documentation must withstand legal scrutiny.
• Ability to deliver difficult messages with care and maintain trust.
• Experience spotting patterns behind repeat cases and acting on them.
• Bonus: Employment law background, multi-state experience, field or operations workforce ER, manager training design.
