Salary: $89,600–$149,300 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert on complex employee relations matters for assigned business lines or geographic territories.
• Advise managers and employees on workplace issues, performance management, corrective action, conduct, disputes, and policy interpretation.
• Receive complaints, conduct and support employee investigations, recommend resolutions, and facilitate dispute resolution.
• Participate in regulatory complaints, unemployment hearings, investigative conferences, and other external proceedings as a bank representative.
• Develop and deliver training on employee relations, bank policies, harassment, legal issues, and performance management.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, prepare reporting and presentations, mentor less experienced employee relations staff, and support exit interview analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, plus 5 or more years of relevant experience; alternatively, 9 years of combined higher education and work experience.
• Experience consulting on employee relations matters and conducting or leading investigations.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, influencing, writing, and mediation skills.
• Ability to think critically, work with agility in changing and ambiguous environments, and remain organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel, as needed.
• Understanding of employment law and its application to corrective action, regulatory complaints, and workplace policies.

Nice to have

• HR generalist, employee relations, or internal business line management experience with significant people-management responsibility.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
• Experience mentoring or leading others.
