Senior Human Resources Generalist

Location: Irvine, California, United States. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary site-based HR partner for employees and leaders at the Irvine site.
• Support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, change management, leadership development, and talent initiatives.
• Handle employee relations matters, including coaching, conflict resolution, investigations, corrective actions, employee meetings, and exit interviews.
• Coach leaders on performance management, policy interpretation, communication, talent development, and succession planning.
• Use employee feedback, engagement surveys, workforce trends, Workday, and HR metrics to improve engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Global HRBPs, HR Centers of Excellence, and People Operations on enterprise HR processes and projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated employee relations expertise.
• Experience with investigations, workplace conflict resolution, corrective actions, employment policies, employment laws, and reductions in force.
• Experience supporting employees in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or product development environments.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
• Experience managing complex employee relations matters in California.
• Experience with Workday HRIS, engagement survey platforms, workforce analytics, talent reviews, and succession planning.
• Experience supporting large employee populations in a manufacturing or operational site environment.
