SEO & Organic Growth Manager (AI)

Location: Chicago, IL; office based in Chicago's West Loop

Salary: $117,000–$130,000 annually, plus a discretionary performance bonus of 8–12% of base salary.

What you will do

• Own organic growth strategy for tastytrade.com across SEO and generative/AI search optimization.
• Manage App Store Optimization to improve discovery and competitiveness of the tastytrade app.
• Define organic performance KPIs and build dashboards and reporting tied to acquisition and business outcomes.
• Lead and develop the organic team, including prioritization, work reviews, mentoring, and career development.
• Translate organic insights into recommendations for website structure, content, and product improvements while partnering with Product, Content, Brand, Engineering, and experimentation teams.
• Manage the organic growth tool stack, monitor generative search developments, maintain regulatory alignment with Compliance, and report strategy and risks to marketing leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive SEO or organic growth experience, including experience managing or leading a team.
• Proven ability to define KPIs and create reporting connected to business outcomes rather than rankings or traffic alone.
• Hands-on expertise in technical SEO, keyword strategy, and content architecture, plus working knowledge of GEO/AI search optimization.
• Strong analytics skills with GA4 and Google Search Console, including the ability to collect and interpret data independently.
• Experience managing or mentoring at least one direct report.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, data analytics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
