CNC Programmer (Aerospace)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; onsite fabrication and machining role.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain CNC machinery, tooling, and equipment.
• Develop, simulate, and execute NC toolpaths using NX CAM.
• Design and manufacture holding fixtures as required.
• Perform visual quality checks and dimensional measurements using GD&T standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables to support efficient reordering.

Requirements

• Trade qualification in a relevant industry.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven expertise in CNC machining and CAM programming, ideally with NX CAM.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and measurement instruments.
• Ability to work independently on low-run job-shop machining and precision mechanical assembly.
• For the New Zealand role, nationality and background checks are required to confirm eligibility to access equipment and data regulated by ITAR.

Nice to have

• 5-axis machining experience.
• Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team environment.
