Field Operations Technician (IoT Hardware)

Location: Remote; near 100% travel to customer facilities, including short-notice domestic travel and visits outside normal business hours

What you will do

• Travel to customer facilities to lead inspection, installation, and servicing visits.
• Install hirify.global towers and other hardware products at customer sites.
• Coordinate with contractors on electrical work, forklift modifications, and installation support.
• Coordinate shipping of towers and tools from inventory to customer locations.
• Provide manufacturing teams with configurations and specifications based on site visits.
• Recommend installation improvements and relevant product features to Product and Hardware teams while coordinating with customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience servicing industrial equipment, vehicles, utilities, robots, or similar systems.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and optical troubleshooting.
• High availability for planned and unplanned service visits, including short-notice domestic travel and work outside normal business hours.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, including directing contractors and explaining work to customers.
• Experience using command-line interfaces such as PowerShell or Linux.

• Experience servicing equipment in warehouse or factory environments.
