What you will do

• Lead field data collection across utility pilots using LiDAR and imagery systems across diverse terrains.
• Operate and troubleshoot 11-lb backpack sensor systems and vehicle-mounted equipment.
• Serve as a critical feedback loop between field operations and internal Product and Engineering teams.
• Manage end-to-end deployment logistics, including equipment shipping, site routing, and daily planning.
• Act as the primary customer face on the ground, ensuring professional delivery and project execution.
• Train customer users on data collection systems and provide hands-on technical support.

Requirements

• 2-4+ years of experience in fieldwork, operations, or logistics-intensive roles (e.g., NPS, USFS, military).
• Ability to travel 50-75% and work long days outdoors in variable weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and confidence navigating remote areas and unpaved roads.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills to bridge the gap between field reality and technical requirements.
• High level of organization and detail orientation for managing gear and field reports.

Nice to have

• Experience with GIS tools, tree identification, or wildfire mitigation.
• Safety or medical certifications, such as Wilderness First Responder.
• Exposure to LiDAR, GPS, cameras, or drones.
