Field Deployment Technician, Industrial Robotics

Location: Hybrid, hired remotely from a home base in Spain; legal right to live and work in Spain and EU citizenship required. Frequent travel of up to 80% to customer sites worldwide and regular travel to headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, are expected.

What you will do

• Commission, configure, and troubleshoot ANYmal robots in varied industrial and remote environments.
• Train robot operators and conduct safety briefings.
• Expand autonomous inspection missions by adding routes and points of interest.
• Work with client stakeholders to support successful project delivery and represent customer needs.
• Travel frequently to customer sites, sometimes on short notice, and represent hirify.global at events and exhibitions.
• Collect deployment observations and communicate feedback to support product and technology improvements.

Requirements

• EU citizenship and the legal right to live and work in Spain are required.
• Advanced technical degree, vocational certification, or equivalent practical experience in mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, or robotics.
• Fluent English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and cultural contexts.
• Proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach to field work in diverse environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%, including to industrial and remote locations.
• Class B driver's license.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying robots or other automation systems.
• Linux and command-line experience.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure.
• German or another additional language, such as Spanish, French, or Portuguese.
