Project Controls Lead

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States; 5 days in office. Travel up to 25% as needed. Standard hours are 8:00am–5:00pm ET, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 annually.

hirify.global LLC supports complex programs and projects through project controls, planning, performance monitoring, and reporting.

What you will do

• Establish and manage project controls processes, procedures, and toolsets.
• Provide oversight and guidance to project controls engineers and analysts.
• Establish and monitor project controls best practices across current and future projects.
• Update schedules with actual progress and changes, and track budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts.
• Identify project risks, maintain risk registers, and support mitigation strategies.
• Create KPI reports, status reports, and performance dashboards for program and project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, engineering, science, or a related discipline.
• Typically seven years of experience in project controls and management supporting large and complex programs or projects.
• Experience working within a Project Management Office environment.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Ability to work in the office five days per week in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
