Senior Product Manager (Energy IoT)

Salary: $145,000–$190,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for the hirify.global homeowner mobile app.
• Translate customer needs around savings, convenience, comfort, and carbon reduction into digital product strategy.
• Work across hirify.global hardware, firmware, cloud infrastructure, APIs, data models, and mobile and web applications.
• Develop and iterate software-enabled features, personalized energy insights, automations, and customer actions.
• Use customer research, discovery, prototyping, analytics, and feature experimentation to prioritize and improve products.
• Collaborate with hardware, platform, installer experience, design, engineering, and sales leaders to deliver a reliable customer experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product experience across hardware, software, and customer-facing energy products.
• 3+ years of experience in residential energy, such as home solar, storage systems, or EV charging.
• Track record of shipping 0-to-1 consumer devices and digital products or features with high CSAT.
• Strong knowledge of customer discovery, research, design sprints, rapid prototyping, firmware, cloud infrastructure, and APIs.
• Experience developing business models for 0-to-1 products, including opportunity sizing, competitor analysis, prioritization, and go-to-market planning.
• Hands-on experience with product analytics, feature flagging, and in-app messaging tools.

Nice to have

• Experience managing a mobile app.
• Experience managing complex, multi-year, multi-product roadmaps.
• Experience with connected-home or IoT products, including connected devices, smart appliances, or assistants.
