Product Design Lead (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; in-office at least 2 days per week

Salary: $270,000+ annual base salary, plus benefits and equity

What you will do

• Operate as a player-coach on a lean design team and partner with cross-functional teams to build thoughtful product experiences.
• Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a small team of designers.
• Elevate interaction and visual design quality across complex financial systems.
• Craft elegant, intuitive experiences across multiple hirify.global businesses and brands.
• Use customer research and insights to clarify problems and develop effective design solutions.
• Establish design principles, systems, and discovery practices for a cohesive private-markets product ecosystem.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
• 2+ years of experience in a formal design management role.
• Experience working in complex domains with interconnected brand dynamics.
• Strong systems thinking, interaction design, and visual design skills.
• High standards for craft and quality, with experience mentoring and developing designers.
• Strong product vision, customer focus, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
