Operations Planner

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; on-site

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Coordinate suppliers, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to align schedules and resources for critical-path items.
• Translate engineering bills of materials into demand, supply, and production planning signals.
• Monitor supply risks, mitigation strategies, schedule blockers, and their impact on internal customers.
• Manage product lifecycle demand and supply planning, especially the transition from development to production.
• Negotiate resource allocation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create planning tools and improve supply chain processes and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, planning, or supply chain.
• Experience translating engineering designs into demand and supply plans.
• Strong understanding of ERP and MRP systems, plus proficiency with MS Office or G-Suite.
• General understanding of quality system functionality and strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work on-site in an industrial facility, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and work nights, weekends, or on-call shifts when required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Experience with resource allocation, master schedules, or Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
