VP of Engineering

Location: On-site in San Francisco; relocation support to San Francisco is available as needed.

What you will do

• Define and execute the technical vision and architecture for systems serving millions of digital minds.
• Build and lead the engineering organization, establishing technical precision and ownership-driven practices.
• Drive fast, high-quality engineering execution while balancing speed and durability.
• Partner with product, design, and leadership to align strategy and deliver ambitious roadmaps.
• Mentor engineering leaders and develop a world-class engineering culture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 2+ years leading teams of 10+ engineers in a hyper-growth, high-expectation environment.
• Proven experience building teams and shipping large-scale, high-impact systems.
• Strong executive communication skills for translating between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, create new playbooks, and build an ownership-driven culture.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco.
