What you will do

  • Serve as a technical resource in customer conversations, including on-site visits and technical feasibility discussions.
  • Develop initial system design concepts, site integration requirements, project scopes, and actionable technical specifications with customers.
  • Support commercial proposals with single-line diagrams, system layout concepts, technical specifications, and inputs to pricing and capacity models.
  • Build deep expertise in energy storage products, including battery chemistry, pack configurations, system architecture, degradation, and performance.
  • Partner with engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, identify capability gaps, and inform the product development roadmap.
  • Enable the commercial team to handle routine technical questions and design decisions more independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Background in design engineering or applications engineering.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make well-reasoned technology and product decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites, with travel of up to 30%.
