Salary: $128,000–$173,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design and analyze mechanical aspects of high-power electronic products for hydrogen electrolysis systems.
• Integrate power systems, thermal management solutions, and structural designs from prototype through production release.
• Create and release detailed drawings and documentation for parts and assemblies.
• Design power bussing and bus interfaces for high-current DC output systems.
• Collaborate with systems optimization and modeling teams on power system performance and plant cost tradeoffs.
• Lead product compliance efforts for US and EU markets and support manufacturing, testing, and field deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing mechanical systems for high-power electrical equipment or power distribution systems.
• Strong understanding of thermal management, structural analysis, mechanical integration, electronics packaging, and product development processes.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and detailed drawing creation.
• Experience supporting products from prototype through production release.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in hydrogen, renewable energy, battery, power conversion, or industrial automation industries.
• Familiarity with finite element analysis and thermal simulation tools.
• Experience working with manufacturing and supply chain teams.
• Knowledge of industry standards for power systems and industrial equipment.
