Senior Product Manager (Energy)

Salary: $145,000–$190,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the Installer App used by electrician and technician partners.
• Research installer workflows through job-site shadowing, ride-alongs, certification classes, and support call reviews.
• Design scalable commissioning workflows for panels, batteries, EV chargers, sensors, solar, and other distributed energy resources.
• Partner with firmware, cloud, mobile engineering, field operations, installer training, design, and sales teams to ship reliable product features.
• Use field telemetry, commissioning success rates, time-per-step, support deflection, and installer NPS to prioritize improvements.
• Reduce time-on-site, escalation rates, and commissioning errors while improving first-time-right outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hardware, software, and app product experience with customer-facing energy products.
• 3+ years of experience in residential energy, including home solar, storage systems, or EV charging.
• Track record of shipping 0-to-1 digital products or features with high CSAT.
• Strong knowledge of customer discovery, research, design sprints, rapid prototyping, firmware, cloud infrastructure, and APIs.
• Experience with opportunity sizing, competitor analysis, feature prioritization, go-to-market, product analytics, feature flags, and in-app messaging.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco and collaborate across product, engineering, field operations, and business teams.

• Experience managing a mobile app or connected home/IoT products.
• Experience with complex, multi-year, multi-product roadmaps.
