Contracts Manager

Location: Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan; based at the Japan HQ

hirify.global develops and operates hyperscale data centres across the Asia Pacific and Middle East region to support the growth of digital infrastructure.

What you will do

• Manage contracts for Property Operations across Kanto, Kansai, and future regions in Japan.
• Negotiate contracts and develop, review, and manage contractual documentation.
• Advise Data Centre Operations teams on commercial and contract matters throughout the data centre lifecycle.
• Manage vendors, contract variations, performance reviews, disputes, claims, invoices, and payment-related matters.
• Lead cost management, reporting, tender packages, evaluations, and recommendations.
• Support new data centre capacity, capital improvement projects, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives; travel to domestic and international data centre sites as required.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent commercial business experience.
• Fluency in Japanese and English, written and spoken.
• Extensive senior-level contract management experience covering preparation, negotiation, administration, commercial matters, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing Facility Management contracts.
