Director & Sr. Corporate Counsel (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate licensing, sales, services, development, procurement, and other technology transaction agreements across APJ.
• Advise cross-functional teams on employment, corporate, finance, marketing, procurement, and regulatory risk matters.
• Partner with global trade compliance stakeholders on regional export control matters and maintain local compliance programs.
• Implement local governance and corporate compliance programs, including training and compliance investigations.
• Provide legal support for regional IP enforcement and license compliance matters.

Requirements

• LL.B., LL.M., or JD from a reputable law school in a hirify.global APJ country or region.
• Bar admission in the U.S. or a hirify.global APJ country or region.
• 10–12 years of post-qualification experience in multinational companies or international law firms.
• Proven technology transaction or IP licensing experience; commercial transaction law firm experience is strongly preferred.
• Fluent Japanese is required.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor industry experience.
• Fluency in another APJ country or region language.
