Product Manager (AI Hardware)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid work with a minimum of three in-office days per week.

What you will do

• Shape the vision and roadmap for next-generation AI-native smart hardware.
• Research user needs, emerging trends, and global behaviors to define products for professional users.
• Partner with AI, design, firmware, application, engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams.
• Lead products from concept sketches and prototyping through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production.
• Use user feedback, data, and market insights to refine product direction and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, industrial design, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of product management experience in wearable devices, consumer electronics, or AI hardware.
• Strong understanding of hardware product development, including concept design, prototyping, EVT/DVT/PVT, mass production, suppliers, and cost control.
• Knowledge of AI applications in wearables, including voice interaction, sensors, low-power computing, and edge AI.
• Understanding of system-level design across electronics, mechanics, firmware, manufacturing, hardware validation, quality, and reliability.
• Ability to make technical trade-offs, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and drive cross-functional execution.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-driven consumer products or wearable devices.
• Exposure to industrial design, sensors, embedded AI systems, and regulatory certifications such as FCC, CE, or PTCRB.
• Understanding of international business professionals' work habits, aesthetics, and smart-device purchasing behavior.
