What you will do
- Lead and manage a highly qualified software engineering team.
- Collaborate with product and engineering areas to deliver relevant products with global impact.
- Review code and support complex design and architectural decisions.
- Follow software through production, including continuous testing, monitoring, and status reporting.
- Prepare weekly progress reports for stakeholders and work on strategic payments-platform projects.
- Mentor engineers, conduct 1:1 meetings, and create individual development plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and deploying software solutions to production.
- Proven experience leading a team of software engineers.
- Experience with one or more programming languages.
- Knowledge of data structures, concurrency, persistence, distributed systems, software quality, and system evolution.
- Expertise with Git or another collaborative version-control system.
- Advanced English in reading, writing, and speaking.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS, infrastructure automation, service provisioning, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of networks, databases, test-driven development, functional or logic programming, serverless architecture, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Experience with distributed and asynchronous systems and concurrency challenges.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and legal requirements in payments.
- Experience managing B2B and B2C onboarding lifecycles.
