What you will do

• Lead, grow, and empower a team of backend engineers through delegation and hands-on leadership.
• Define the team roadmap and vision with Product Managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders.
• Drive end-to-end execution and timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance for a team of 9 engineers.
• Promote innovation, collaboration, technical excellence, and effective communication.
• Oversee hiring in partnership with recruiting to build a diverse and inclusive team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of people-management experience leading backend teams of 5 or more engineers.
• At least 7 years of industry experience as an engineer in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
• Experience with distributed system design, system scaling, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with remote teams across different time zones and fluency in English.
• Experience in B2B product development and data integrations through APIs, file exchange, or self-service tooling.
