Lead Digital Design Engineer (ASIC)

Base pay: $190,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop digital architectures for audio signal paths, DSP, and analog-digital interfaces.
• Build functional and behavioral system models using Matlab/Simulink and Verilog-AMS.
• Perform RTL design, synthesis, timing closure, scan pattern generation, and power optimization.
• Supervise the RTL-to-GDS flow for high-performance, low-power ASICs.
• Define digital verification plans and verify systems and blocks with digital verification engineers.
• Develop low-power audio signal-processing architectures for MEMS microphone solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in electronic engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience developing digital blocks or systems for high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits.
• Strong understanding of the complete digital design flow, DFT, and low-power digital circuit design.
• Experience implementing DSP, sigma-delta ADCs, or audio signal processing.
• Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal concepts including sampling, quantization, FFT, SNR, and THD.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cadence Digital EDA tools such as Genus, Tempus, Jasper, Voltus, Modus, or Conformal.
• Understanding of analog circuit limitations including offset, gain error, and distortion.
• Structured, methodological approach and strong teamwork skills.
