Group Accountant, Technical Reporting (iGaming)

Light & Wonder is an iGaming company with a corporate finance function supporting global operations and employee services.

What you will do

• Own statutory accounts and audit projects across multiple global legal entities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Review management accounts, identify reporting issues early, and coordinate corrective actions throughout the reporting cycle.
• Build relationships with external auditors and act as the key contact throughout audit processes.
• Prepare technical accounting papers and audit schedules, including support for revenue recognition reviews.
• Collaborate with GL, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Company Secretarial teams on reporting and compliance requirements.
• Lead project meetings and contribute to finance improvement and transformation initiatives while ensuring adherence to internal policies and SOX requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in a top-tier accounting firm environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to interpret and apply accounting standards.
• ACA, ACCA, ICAEW, or another recognized accountancy qualification.
• Strong stakeholder management, organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proactive ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
