Associate Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship (Semiconductor)

Location: Essex Junction, Vermont, United States; onsite in a 200mm semiconductor factory. This is a compressed schedule of 12-hour shifts, with nights required for the listed N1 and N2 schedules.

Salary: $35,400–$56,800 per year.

What you will do

• Operate semiconductor production equipment and support equipment.
• Perform preventive and first-call maintenance.
• Execute quality standard work and support continuous improvement to increase equipment productivity.
• Participate in the hirify.global Maintenance Technician Program and complete Vermont Technical College coursework.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements and work effectively in individual and team settings.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent, or high school technical center education.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom and complete 12-hour shift work.
• Ability to wear required cleanroom protective clothing and stand for most of a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to periodically lift at least 30 pounds.
• Ability to complete a background check and drug screen, where applicable.

• Demonstrated technical aptitude and semiconductor equipment knowledge.
• Experience following detailed procedures and completing required documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, timeliness, dependability, and teamwork.
