TL;DR

Hourly pay: $24.52–$53.85.

What you will do

  • Install, modify, upgrade, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wafer-fabrication manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment issues using technical manuals, schematics, drawings, diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
  • Study equipment performance and reliability and develop solutions that improve uptime.
  • Maintain records of manufacturer technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • Define and document preventive-maintenance schedules.
  • Provide technical support to production operators and process engineering while following cleanroom and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Technical or military training in electronics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent related experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience; semiconductor manufacturing equipment experience is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and flow charts.
  • Experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits at component level, including testing transistors, diodes, resistors, and capacitors with a multimeter.
  • Experience soldering and desoldering printed-circuit-board components and repairing cable harnesses.
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status is required under U.S. export-control regulations.
