Learning Experience Designer (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Office-first role requiring employees to be on-site at least four days a week.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Assist with designing and developing learning programs, courses, resources, and learner-centered experiences.
• Translate subject matter expertise into clear, accessible learning materials and job aids.
• Produce video learning content through scripting, storyboarding, and basic editing with AI-driven and traditional tools.
• Administer learning initiatives by testing digital content, deploying surveys, and tracking engagement metrics.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness by gathering feedback and analyzing learner data.
• Prepare for a new Workday LMS implementation by auditing content and verifying learning pathways with subject matter experts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field.
• Understanding of adult learning theory and foundational instructional design models.
• Basic proficiency with eLearning authoring tools such as Rise 360, Articulate, Synthesia, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet SLA expectations.
• Comfort with G Suite and the ability to learn new HR and LMS technology platforms quickly.
• Experience using AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience creating multimedia or video-based content and exposure to AI-enabled content creation tools.
