Lead Actuary (Insurance)

Salary: $158,000–$214,000 USD annual base salary

What you will do

• Own pricing expertise for target insurance product offerings.
• Build and enhance actuarial methodologies for loss ratio forecasting, insurance analytics, and P&L management.
• Partner with insurance product managers to shape future product developments.
• Build go-to-market predictive models in Akur8, perform impact analyses, and support product filings.
• Conduct competitor and market research and collaborate with data science and data engineering on data architecture.
• Deliver actuarially sound recommendations to senior management and support reinsurance, finance, distribution, claims, and growth teams.

Requirements

• FCAS preferred; ACAS accepted.
• 6+ years of actuarial experience.
• Property and casualty insurance and product management experience preferred.
• Strong accountability, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise with some or all of Tableau, SQL, Python, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Akur8.
