Manager Actuarial Pricing (Insurance)

Location: Remote within the United States, excluding Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, and West Virginia; non-Seattle Washington

Salary: $138,800–$185,000 annually, plus potential long-term incentive awards

What you will do

• Review insurance rates, profit and loss results, historical and current trends, and projected underwriting losses.
• Prepare pricing analyses, recommendations, and rate package proposals for executive management.
• Support the development and design of new personal lines insurance products and programs.
• Prepare rate filing materials, exhibits, rate manual pages, and supporting data analyses.
• Develop competitive intelligence reports covering competitor rates and market pricing by product.
• Develop and analyze reports while pursuing continued professional development in actuarial science.

Requirements

• ACAS required; FCAS preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Management or project lead experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Python, analytical tools, and SQL.
• Experience with personal lines property and casualty insurance.

Nice to have

• Experience with predictive modeling, data visualization, or process automation.
• FCAS designation.
