Senior P&C Actuarial Analyst – Sharing Economy

Location: Hybrid role based in Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; or Tempe, Arizona. Candidates must work onsite at least 2 days per week, increasing to 3 days per week in 2027, and must be eligible to work lawfully in the United States immediately.

Salary: $110,000–$165,000 per year, with potential incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Analyze trends in the sharing economy and their impact on insurance needs for the transportation of people and goods.
• Gather and reconcile data from internal systems and external sources.
• Translate platform data into pricing recommendations that support profitable program growth.
• Build and maintain tools for loss analysis, actuarial indications, and ongoing trend monitoring.
• Partner with Product, Underwriting, Claims, and Loss Reserves teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with or for a gig or sharing-economy company.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, information management, or another analytical field.
• Experience with data and statistical analysis using Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python.
• Successful completion of at least three SOA or CAS exams; ACAS is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Immediate U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
