TL;DR
Senior P&C Actuarial Analyst – Sharing Economy (Property and Casualty Insurance): Translating sharing-economy platform data into pricing recommendations and building tools for loss analysis, actuarial indication, and trend monitoring with an accent on data reconciliation and statistical analysis. Focus on collaborating with product, underwriting, claims, and loss reserve teams, analyzing emerging transportation trends, and supporting profitable insurance program growth.

Location: Hybrid work in Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; or Tempe, Arizona. Office attendance is required at least 2 days per week, increasing to 3 days per week in 2027.

Salary: $105,000–$149,000 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

  • Translate sharing-economy platform data into pricing recommendations that support profitable program growth.
  • Gather, reconcile, and analyze data from internal systems and external sources.
  • Build and maintain tools for loss analysis, actuarial indication, and trend monitoring.
  • Analyze changing consumer preferences and transportation trends affecting insurance needs.
  • Collaborate with product, underwriting, claims, and loss reserve teams.

Requirements

  • Immediate legal eligibility to work in the United States is required; U.S. work authorization sponsorship is not available.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with or for a gig or sharing-economy company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, information management, or another analytical field.
  • Experience with data and statistical analysis using Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python.
  • Successful completion of at least three Society of Actuaries or Casualty Actuarial Society exams.
  • Intention to earn or maintain the continuing education requirements for the ACAS or FCAS designation.

Nice to have

  • ACAS designation.
  • Advanced relevant industry experience and progress toward ACAS/FCAS exams.
