Salary: $66,000–$116,500 per year

What you will do

• Support quarterly valuation and financial reporting for Universal Life products.
• Prepare and analyze Statutory, GAAP, and Tax reserves and financial results.
• Explain period-over-period results, identify key drivers, and document findings.
• Maintain, test, and enhance valuation models, assumptions, methodologies, and supporting processes.
• Support actuarial testing, regulatory reporting, governance, and new product initiatives.
• Develop analytical tools, reporting solutions, and process automation in collaboration with Finance, Financial Reporting, Pricing, Modeling, and actuarial teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• At least two actuarial exams completed and commitment to continued exam progress.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with databases and SQL or similar query technologies.
• Programming experience or aptitude with VBA, Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.

Nice to have

• Four or more actuarial exams completed or significant progress toward the ASA designation.
• Experience in valuation, financial reporting, modeling, pricing, insurance, or financial services.
• Experience with PolySystems or other actuarial modeling platforms.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, or similar reporting tools.
• Exposure to Statutory, GAAP, and Tax valuation methodologies.
