TL;DR
Technician IV, Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance (Semiconductor Manufacturing): Maintaining and improving production equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with an accent on preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and cross-functional problem-solving. Focus on diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system failures, driving OEE and downtime improvements, and mentoring junior technicians.

Location: Onsite in Biñan City, Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines; shifting work schedule

What you will do

  • Maintain production equipment to support high uptime, performance, and reliability across manufacturing lines.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, corrective repairs, and comprehensive equipment servicing.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation, and control-system issues.
  • Monitor and improve OEE, MTBF, MTTR, unscheduled downtime, and preventive-maintenance effectiveness.
  • Document maintenance activities, failure details, checklists, and equipment data in maintenance systems.
  • Collaborate with Production, Process, Yield, and Quality teams while providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electromechanical, Computer, Industrial, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, or equipment sustaining.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, actuators, industrial control systems, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Must be open to onsite employment in Biñan City, Laguna, Philippines and to a shifting schedule.

  • Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing.
