Customer Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Clark Freeport Zone, Philippines; on-site work required. Travel is required 25% of the time, and relocation is eligible.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment alongside Senior Field Service Engineers.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Coordinate and communicate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation.
• Work in clean-room environments while following safety, environmental, and on-site requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 1–2 years of customer or field service support experience, or experience in a related technical field.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and resolve basic technical issues.
• Basic mechanical aptitude in areas such as pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet all on-site safety and environmental requirements.

Nice to have

• 2–4 years of customer or field service support experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining Applied PPC/PVD systems.
