What you will do

• Support telecommunications strategy, planning, and technical roadmaps for data center operations.
• Assist with the design, installation, commissioning, and handover of telecommunications infrastructure, including Division 27 specifications and standards.
• Support the design and commissioning of audiovisual and security infrastructure, including Division 28 specifications and standards.
• Review design deliverables, support conceptual design decisions, and verify contractor compliance with installation and testing requirements.
• Perform periodic site assessments and testing to support uptime, reliability, performance, and customer service-level agreements.
• Support customer pursuits, acquisition asset assessments, and telecommunications vendor coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or RCDD certification with applicable data center or construction experience.
• Some experience with TIA-942 data center telecommunications and campus or building ICT design standards.
• Technical knowledge of telecommunications systems, protocols, and industry standards.
• Experience with large-scale network design, deployment, and management, plus a general understanding of data center infrastructure or construction.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit, design drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
