Telecommunications Engineer

Location: Rochester, New York, United States; on-site

Salary: $75,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Support capital projects involving digitization and automation across electric, gas, fossil hydro, process and technology, AMI, and control and automation operations.
• Conduct project evaluation, feasibility, planning, engineering design, and operational reviews.
• Review non-legal contracts and monitor construction progress, equipment compliance, and material compliance with specifications.
• Perform schedule analysis and optimization, cost-benefit analysis, and equipment commissioning.
• Coordinate verification testing and provide technical and business reporting to the project owner.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of engineering experience in the relevant functional area.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license requested.
• Ability to work on-site in Rochester, New York, United States.
